SADTITZZZ is a requiem for the old guard of turntablism. Following on from the festival's theme of the 'sadboi' aesthetic, SADTITZZZ mourns the loss of the stereotypical turntablist, albeit in a nu-metal band, a DJ battle or any theorem constrained by the idea of genre.
After performing at London Jazz Festival, in 2021, rather than say 'hello' or 'well done', an audience member remarked 'I suppose, you COULD be Jazz'. Now, I ask, how can the turntable 'NOT' be jazz? Hence, a match was lit under my arse, and here is SADTITZZZ.

Reviewed 4**** by The Guardian, SADTITZZZ was described as ‘a delirious mad-dash of high velocity sonic surrealism’. London Jazz News called it ‘an ultra intense, angry-face emoji, rapid-fire collage of sound layers and febrile, tactile interventions resolutely defying description – genuinely ground breaking’ and Wire Magazine said ‘fingers flutter between two decks with the speed and delicacy of a lace maker creating a wall of techno sound’.
